American Pan-Seared Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets to the pan, skin-side down, and cook for 6-7 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Flip the fillets and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the salmon reaches your desired level of doneness.
  5. Squeeze the juice of the lemon over the cooked salmon before serving.
